La comparaison des langues et la démarche interculturelle : vers une conception élargie de la notion de « comparaison » en didactique du FLE Angélique MASSET-MARTIN Grammatica , Université d’Artois, Arras, France Résumé. À l’heure actuelle, en didactique du Français Langue Etrangère, l’heure est à l’interculturalité. La « simple » comparaison a laissé la place à une conception élargie l’intégrant au sein d’une démarche dite interculturelle qui doit permettre d’aller plus loin dans la compréhension de l’Autre, dans ses différences mais aussi dans ses points communs. Ceci afin que l’apprentissage de la langue/culture étrangère (le français ici) soit le plus efficace possible. Nous présentons ce que Nathalie Auger entend par « Comparaison des langues », qui entre dans le cadre d’une éducation plurilingue et pluriculturelle suivant les préconisations du CECRL. Puis nous proposons de rappeler ce qu’est la démarche interculturelle et les raisons de son importance dans l’enseignement/apprentissage du FLE. Nous finissons en exposant les résultats d’une expérimentation menée auprès de nos étudiants de Master 1 de l’Université d’Artois autour de ces notions centrales que sont la comparaison et la démarche interculturelle. Abstract. At the present time, in the teaching of French as a Foreign Language, the time has come for the study of interculturality. The "simple" comparison has given way to a broader idea integrating it into a so-called intercultural approach that must allow us to go further in understanding the Other, with its differences and also in its commonalities. This is to render the learning of the foreign language / culture (French in this case) as effective as possible. We present what Nathalie Auger means by "Comparaison des langues", which is part of a plurilingual and pluricultural education following the recommendations of the CEFR. Then we propose to recall what the intercultural approach is and the reasons for its importance in the teaching / learning of FLE. We finish by exposing the results of an experiment carried out with our students of Master 1 of the University of Artois around these central notions that are the comparison and the intercultural approach.
